22 Ounce Insulated Canteen by Urban Hydrofit

I've been using the 22 Ounce Insulated Canteen by Urban Hydrofit for the last week.  I have this weird thing about drinking coffee and water out of the same cups so unfortunately I have not tested the "heat" factor to the canteen.  I guess I could have tried hot water but until this moment, the thought hadn't crossed my mind.  I've been sick for 3 weeks, bear with me!

My biggest complaint!? It's only 22 oz!  I feel like I'm always running out of water.  I'm just really whining because my previous cup was about 30 oz and I guess I never realized how much difference 8 oz really makes.  I really do feel like in the heat of the summer that my water will stay cold and that is important! I don't have air conditioning in my car and cold drinks are top priority.

The bottle, or canteen, is very heavy.  You can tell it's very well insulated.  I think that's why I don't realize I'm out of water, I go to get a drink and surprised it's empty!  I'm not sure if I could tell a friend to go spend $20 on this but I absolutely love mine and think that any friend would love it.  It's just a lot of money for a water bottle.

Oh, it's also TSA approved.  Or, security didn't have a problem when I went through the air port the other day with it!

The drawstring bag that comes with it is cheap and I don't really see the point of putting that with it.  Drop the price point a few bucks and get rid of the bag!

Talk about bright, and I don't mean myself. I'm talking about the Night Provision BX-960 LED Bike Light!  It's 960 lumens.  I don't know if I can explain 960 lumens without you seeing it for yourself.  Bright does not do it justice.  It's simply amazing.

Sadly, I'm sitting in North Dakota right now hoping the next weekend I am home I get to enjoy the 80 degree weather they have this weekend while I'm gone, while reminding myself that spring is just around the corner!  I am itching to jump on my bike.

Activa Naturals Greens Superfood Powder

Activa Naturals Greens Superfood Powder - sigh - I thought I was scarred for life when I made some gals at work try this with me for the first time, because you never do shots alone! I have stinky shoes. My feet sweat. My cycle shoes are the worst. I sweat in them and then leave them in my car all day to put them back on the in the evenings. My shoes stink.

I love to chew gum, in fact if I'm not eating food, or if I don't have a piece of hard candy in my mouth, I am chewing gum.  If I am teaching spin class (6 hours a week) I have gum in my mouth, it keeps me from getting dry mouth while teaching.  So there's no better product for me than Run Gum. Right? Right, exactly!

The caffeine kick is great for my evening spin classes when I just need that extra boost of energy.  One piece is all I need.  It kicks in quick and does the trick to get my through an hour long spin class and to bed a few hours later.  I would recommend this to anyone!!

The Cutest Magnetic Whiteboard Dry Eraser Set Ever

These adorable loyal dog magnetic dry erasers are as cute as can be.  They come in a pack of twelve and you can find them one amazon: right here.  They are 2" x 2" and about 3/4" tall.  They are squishy foam and very light weight.  I'm actually kind of surprised they are magnetic and stick so well because they didn't stick to themselves all that well.

Some of the dog prints are faded out and you can tell the quality isn't that great but to be used for my kids they'll be fine.  I do love that they're magnetic and that they come in a pack of twelve.  You can also get these in cats which are way more adorable than the dogs and would actually be preferred by me!

selpHbalance TDS, EC & Temp Meter

I did a little research on TDS counts and water since I found the chart included in the instructions with the selpHbalance TDS, EC & Temp Meter a little hard to read.  Based on what I read, EPA standards are that the TDS in tap water must be under 500 ppm.  TDS stands for total dissolved solids which is ions, salts and metals dissolved in a measure of water.  The higher the TDS the less pure the water is.

Just to give the selpHbalance TDS, EC & Temp Meter a good test I used regular tap water and Great Value bottled water to do a quick test to see if it worked.

My tap water TDS measured in at 299 ppm. Which is below the EPA standards, good to know.  I'm sure this varies on a daily basis, even on an hourly basis.

The Great Value bottled water TDS were 22 ppm, which ideal drinking water is under 50 ppm.

So, does it work? Yes!  I actually will be taking this with me when I travel because I am really weird about drinking tap water from places I am unfamiliar with.  It's a great tool to keep in mind for your health, and the health of your family.
