100% Natural & Organic Dry Shampoo Powder

Dry Shampoo is my best friend.  I wash my hair twice a week (Saturdays and Tuesdays).  Yes, on a schedule.  I teach multiple spin classes between those washings and while I don't suffer from greasy hair I do suffer from the smell of sweaty, unfresh hair which is the main reason why I choose to use dry shampoo versus some body spray in my hair.  Dry shampoo gives my hair a better more refreshed smell.  The dry shampoo by Hair Dance smells like lavender and has a pointed applicator tip to easily apply to the roots.  I also pour some in my hands and get the areas that need it.  I typically apply dry shampoo and then do a once over with a brush and hair dryer to get any loose powder accumulations.

It doesn't seem to leave my hair feeling cakey and full.  I've never used a powdered dry shampoo before, it takes me back to days of baby powder and corn starch!  I really am liking how light my hair is feeling compared to the aerosol version I had been using.  My hair never has an ashy look to it and the scent isn't horrible, although I personally wouldn't choose lavender if I had the opportunity to choose another scent.

Chair Dancing Fitness: Latin, Soul, and Rock 'n Roll

Dancing with weights - or with paper plates!

I'm a huge fitness nerd and I know that fitness is not one size fits all.  I love Chair Dancing Fitness.  I look at this DVD and while I watch it I see a variety of ages but I also see demographics that you cannot see.  Firstly, there's the active older adult, there's the seniors who start to lose mobility who can still stay active while seated.  This DVD can appeal to anyone who has had a stroke and is facing mobility and dexterity issues. I love that it can be done seated and the idea of paper plates, it's a physical therapists dream to be holding paper plates while moving, the fine motor skills it's touching on is great.  Its perfect for anyone with a lower body or back injury so it's not putting any strain on their back or lower joints.  It can be performed by anyone who is in a wheelchair.  OR... It can be done by anyone who is morbidly obese! I'd love to see one or two of representing in the video! This is perfect for them, the can stay seated, it's slow and steady, doesn't over exert and can be intensified over time by standing, adding weights, etc! Let's market this to Dr. O and My 600 lb Life! :)

Anyhow, I'm digging this, I think it's a great DVD and it serves a perfect person and I've showed it to my 84 year old grandma and I'm trying to get her to do it with me!

If anyone knows me you know I am obsessed with any and all bike accessories.  I could probably get an extra MPH average if I threw off some gear, good thing I'm not looking to break any world records!

This Bike Bag by Far Know has a PVC cover so you can still access your phone/maps/music while riding and still allowing to be touch sensitive while inside the bag.  The bike bag is also waterproof which is great for those times you get stuck out in the rain, but I also love this to protect my phone from all the flying dust.  If you've ever rode in Kansas wind and gotten sand blasted while passing a field you know what I mean!

Hair Straightener Brush by Sara Mor

I've been wanting to try a Hair Straightener Brush for a long time so I was super excited when I was given the opportunity to try this one by Sara Mor.

First Impression: Beautifully packaged, it comes with 2 clips to section off your hair while you straighten your hair.  It also comes with a storage bag, which is great, too!

While in use: I couldn't get the temperature to lock.  I read the instructions before use but I couldn't get the temperature to lock into place according to the instructions which was a pain because it always hit it while in use.

It gets hot, 230 degrees Celsius! You could feel the heat radiating from it. It heats up fast, within 90 seconds and stays hot.

The finished effect? It worked, it did not product my desired results. My hair wasn't completely straight, it wanted to curl under or out or lay weird. I will stick to a flat iron on day one, but if it just requires a quick fix I will definitely just bust this out.

We were looking for a night light for our bathroom but when I got this 10 Bright LED Light Bar I knew the perfect place for it would be the bathroom. The LED Light Bar is motion sensitive and comes with a magnetic mounting strip that you can mount to anywhere in your house. It's simple to use - just simply remove the backing from the sticky side and stick it to the surface you wish.

So far we are on a week of having the LED Light Bar in use and haven't recharged it.  The initial charge took about an hour to fully charge.  The LED Light Bar only turns on when it's dark so it's not being using when the light is on or during the day light hours.
