Chair Dancing Fitness: Latin, Soul, and Rock 'n Roll

Dancing with weights - or with paper plates!

I'm a huge fitness nerd and I know that fitness is not one size fits all.  I love Chair Dancing Fitness.  I look at this DVD and while I watch it I see a variety of ages but I also see demographics that you cannot see.  Firstly, there's the active older adult, there's the seniors who start to lose mobility who can still stay active while seated.  This DVD can appeal to anyone who has had a stroke and is facing mobility and dexterity issues. I love that it can be done seated and the idea of paper plates, it's a physical therapists dream to be holding paper plates while moving, the fine motor skills it's touching on is great.  Its perfect for anyone with a lower body or back injury so it's not putting any strain on their back or lower joints.  It can be performed by anyone who is in a wheelchair.  OR... It can be done by anyone who is morbidly obese! I'd love to see one or two of representing in the video! This is perfect for them, the can stay seated, it's slow and steady, doesn't over exert and can be intensified over time by standing, adding weights, etc! Let's market this to Dr. O and My 600 lb Life! :)

Anyhow, I'm digging this, I think it's a great DVD and it serves a perfect person and I've showed it to my 84 year old grandma and I'm trying to get her to do it with me!
