Hippies Style Wall Tapestry Mandala

 

 

I love tapestries. We had a long conversation at work on how to pronounce the word tapestry. Whether it is TAPE or TAP. The outcome? It was dependent on whether you were asking a male or a female.  The colors of this mandala is breathtaking. The blues and teals that make up this tapestry are gorgeous.  

 

Let's talk size! 80 x 60! That's huge for a tapestry. So big I'm not sure what exactly I want to do with this. I'm really toying with the idea of turning it into a tie quilt. So simply to do and it would be plenty big enough to cover my bed and with the proper amount of batting and backing I can make it very warm! It would look perfect as a throw blanket draped on my couch as well. So many possibilities!
